THE GREENSET
One of my best friends, who I actually went to high school with - yes, all the way back to high school days- writes a blog called the greenset about eco-friendly fashion and eco-friendly beauty products. She is a lively writer, and her postings are extremely well-researched.
We are all about repurposing here at The UCC.

PRELOVED
" New clothes! Made from old clothes! OMG! These dresses are sweet, and so is recycling old garments and vintage materials into fresh new looks. It's cool that so many independent designers are working with the art of re-fashion, and it's even cooler that companies like Preloved are doing it so well.
And they make dresses for guys too! Well, not dresses, but clothes anyway.

Beet, Beet, Aubergine, Pear....
I don't know....I thought this grouping of faux food went well together. Love it!
Looks very autumnal....actually....not very spring-like....
One of these artists is a friend of ours, and may be teaching a class project here in the near future....

"Too Much!"
I'm not usually into cute-sy, but this is ridiculous!
I have 2 cats myself...and as Jamie would say: "This is too much!"
These little characters can be found here.

My friend Evelina's wonderful blog:
My friend Evi does all things fiber...and she does it well...and adds an intellectual bent to her work, too.

I Love Science Geeks
On the Extreme Knitting blog I came across Carl Zimmer's Science Tattoo Emporium. It's not craft, but I definitely agree that it is art. I have also heard tell of crafters sporting their ball of yarn tattoos.
